How reviews work
Who can leave a review
Only the two people in an order or a trade can review each other: the buyer reviews the seller, and the seller reviews the buyer. On a trade, each side reviews the other. Each can leave one review. The order must be complete, or refunded after a dispute, or the trade complete, and the review must be left within 4 days. Cancelled orders and trades can't be reviewed.
Every review shows who wrote it and which side they were on: "From a buyer", "From a seller" or "After a trade". A review by someone who has since left shows as by "Former member".
What we show
We show every review on the profile of the person reviewed, newest first, with its date. Each review is published as soon as it's written, whether or not the other side has reviewed yet. We don't check reviews before they're published, we don't edit them, and we don't hide or reorder bad ones. The person reviewed can reply once, and their reply is shown under it.
A member's rating is the average of every review of them, as a buyer and as a seller. The Certified seller badge counts only reviews of them as a seller, including trades: sellers whose ID is verified, with at least 5 of those reviews and an average of 4★ or more, get the badge.
We never add reviews automatically. If nobody reviews an order, there's simply no review.
Honest reviews only
- Review only what happened on your own order or trade.
- Nobody may offer anything (a discount, a refund, a free sample) for a review, or for a good one, or pressure someone to change one.
- Neither side may make their review, or its stars, depend on the other's. "I'll give you 5★ if you give me 5★" isn't allowed.
- Nobody may write, buy or arrange reviews that aren't a real member's own experience.
Reviews we remove
We remove reviews, and may block the accounts behind them, when they:
- are fake, paid for, or written in return for something
- share someone's private details, such as their full name, address, phone number or bank details
- contain hate speech, harassment, or sexual or other unlawful content
We never remove a review just because it's negative.
